Teaching

My teaching reflects my research : it spans a wide array of subjects in the broad fields of Information Science; Communication & Media Studies. The list of couses I've taught can be found below.
I have been experimenting with innovative approaches to pedagogy such as embodied learning and arts-informed pedagogy. I started with a light form of arts where students were invited to make small drawings at the beginning of the course, then at the end of the course, to create a story around a set of drawings chosen from all the drawings made by the class, and present their story in front of their peers at the end of the class.

I gradually moved into full-fledged arts production and exhibition to further enhance students' understanding and appropriation of course content. For more details on students' artistic productions, click on the link "Information and communication theories" and "Information Visualisation".
At the bottom of the page, more links lead to particular innovative pedagogical experiences.
